We bid farewell to Bonnie Thackrey of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 28, 2025 at the age of 68. Bonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton J. McDonald and Betty L. McDonald (McLachlan). She is survived by: her children, Lynde Wiltse of Mt. Pleasant, Robert Wiltse (Sarah) of Grand Rapids, Cindy Harrison (Tim) of Morris, IL, Keith A. Thackrey of Morris, IL, Brett Thackrey of Morris, IL, Sara O'Dwyer (Mark) of Lombard, IL and Carrie Arnold (Doug) of Beloit, WI; her grandchildren, Charlotte, Alexander and Kolbie; and her siblings, Gary McDonald (Judy) of Neenah, WI and Linda Karrick of St. Pete, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Coomer Cemetery (5410 S Vandecar Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Lynde Wiltse to assist with the funeral expenses.
