She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford C. Ward and Grace E. Ward (Hill); her husband Richard Carey; and her siblings, Dale Ward, Dean Ward, Arlene Brown, Doyle Ward and Lorraine Bellinger.
She is survived by: her children, James Wentworth (Sandy) of Mt. Pleasant, Richard Wentworth (Anne) of Okemos, Diane Andre (Richard) of Murrells Inlet, SC, David Wentworth (Mary Beth) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Victoria Wentworth of Murrells Inlet, SC, Jeffery Wentworth (Beth) of Mt. Pleasant and Joseph Wentworth (Rebecca) of Huntsville, TX; and her brother Donald Ward (Joyce). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
