He was predeceased by: his parents, Murk Thomas and Gladys Thomas (Brovont); his stepfather Francis X Muringer; his daughter Lisa Marie Thomas; his daughter-in-law Dawn Thomas; his brothers, Roy Lee Thomas (Evelyn) and Arnold Thomas; and also, Tony, Florence, Joann, Gloria, Dan and Mack.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Thomas of Mount Pleasant; his children, Renae Thomas of Owosso, Dale Thomas (Sara), Lee Thomas of Flint, Tracy Nunez (John) of Emmett, Eugene Thomas of Farwell, Janine Scott (Marvin) of Lake and Katie Clare of Clare, Michigan; his grandchildren, Eugenia Vudures (Cody), Taylor Thomas, Charlie True (Alyssa), Paige Thomas, William True, Alina Scott, Arthur Scott, Skiler Thomas, Ace Thomas, Cecilia Clare and Brogyn Clare; his great grandchildren, Jack, Josie, Amelia and Charlotte; his siblings-in-law, Marjorie Conley (Jerry), Joyce Rust and Raymond Rust (Julie); and his great grandchild Bumpa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
