He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Basil, Marietta Johnston, Ted and Phyllis Shillinger; his cousin Jenna Evans; and his stepgrandfather Curt Woodring.
He is survived by: his parents, Chris Johnston and Patti Johnston (Shillinger); his wife Jennifer Van Dyke; his sons, Brady, Ethan and Tyler; his sister Jessica Johnston; his nephew Matthew Hill (Nevaeh); his niece Madison Hill; his sister-in-law Vanessa Gruenke (Jon); his close friends, Jesse and Heather Wezensky; and also, Emilee and Grant. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
