He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Alberta Smith (Hart); his siblings, Robert Smith and Karen (Bill Sweet); his siblings-in-law, Madeleine Dolan and Dennis Dolan; and his nephew Robert Smith, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jean Dolan; his children, Linda (Mark Leigh), Brian (Elena Smith) and Chrissy DeVeaux; his grandchildren, Courtney (Brad Moore), Mikayla Smith, Sean Leigh, Nicholas Leigh, Patrick (Erin Smith) and Kelly Leigh; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Emerson and Finnigan; and his sister-in-law Lori Ann Dolan. He is also survived by niece and several relatives and friends.
