We bid farewell to Ernie George of Mount Morris, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2025 at the age of 66. Ernie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie R. Davis and Mary Ann Atkins; his brothers, Billy Jean Dawson and James Eddie George; and his mother-in-law Mary Jane Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa George; his children, Jennifer Amaya (Edison), Rachel Middleton and Ernest George, Jr. (Tina Marie); his grandchildren, Nicholas Lester (Lisa), Izalia Valle (Michael), Thaleea Amaya, Edison Amaya II, DeAsya James, Shayla Lester, Alexa Drake, Michael Drake, Jr., Jessica Skillman and Steveie Foster; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Lester, Jr., Trevor Bisalski, Anthony Bisalski, Analia Orman and Addilynn Orman; and his siblings, Willa Mae Wilson, Margaret Handshoe, Chester Dawson, Fred Dawson, Glenna McLaren, Mariea Wilson and Ronnie George.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (11110 Saginaw St, Mt Morris, MI 48458).
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Catholic Church.
