She is survived by: her parents, Nicholas Murphy and Carol Murphy; her sisters, Suzanne Daly (Peter) of Fairfax and Virginia; her nephews, Nicholas of Somerville, MA and Ron (Allyson) of Ann Arbor, MI; and her friend Munich. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.

Ellen's work friends became more important with the coming of Covid.
