He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rubio and Lupe Rubio (Gonzales); his siblings, Irene Rubio, Joyce Thierry, Isabelle Lambert, Vincent Rubio and Juanita Piche; and his nephew Scott Rubio.
He is survived by: his brothers, Sal Rubio (Rosemary) and Richard Rubio (Suzanne); his niece Tara Motowski; and his nephew Ryan Thierry. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
