He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Nicaise and La Vonne Nicaise (Hawley); his brother Keith Nicaise; and his father-in-law Walter Nalezyty. He is survived by: his wife Lorretta Ellen Nicaise (Nalezyty); his children, Steven (Amanda), James Nicaise, Jeffery Furton, Crystal Gumabong (Erick) and Theresa Kepley (Trent); his grandchildren, Sevanah, Skye, Jacob, Morgan, Cade, Max, Ethan, Tyler and Tori; and his siblings, Virgil "Nick" Nicaise (Laura), Donna Whitenight (Dennis) and Laura Allen (Bill).
