He was predeceased by : his parents, James Gunter and Joanne Gunter (Worten). He is survived by : his wife Peggy (Bigham); his children, Christina England (Mark), Carla Beach (John), Cindi Jones (Paul) and Jamey Gunter (Sarah); his grandchildren, Blue, Dorothy, Lee, Jodhi, Jax, Dakota (Travis), Harley, Presley, Corinna and Logan; and his siblings, Jimmie Goodwin (Rick), Merri Hall and Don Gunter (Sheila). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

The military honors was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Metro Church of Christ (40100 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314).
