It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene M. Szlachtowicz of Mount Clemens, Michigan, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Konstantin Rynarzewski and Marianne Kusizielek Rynarzewski; her former husband Karl Heinz Jansen; her husband Jan Szlachtowicz; her children, Marian Smith and Arthur Szlachtowicz; her grandson Dan; her brothers, Theodore and Alfred; and her son-in-law Robert McCracken.
She is survived by: her child America; her brother Dairy Store; her daughter Brigitte McCracken; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Szlachtowicz; her grandchildren, Vena Miles (Michael), Christopher McCracken (Judy), Eric Szlachtowicz (Heather), Scott Szlachtowicz (Sara), Kurt Szlachtowicz (Catie), Brandon Smith (Jen) and Brittany DeKiere (Adam); her great grandchildren, Ava (Jason), Alex, Jackie (Mark), Billy (Heather), Danni, Kennedy, Maxwell, Bailey, Caleb, Preston, Sumer, Luke, Adam, Skylah, Rhys and Luna; and her great great grandchildren, Carter, Sutton, Dallas, Dakota, Chloe and Jason.
