We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2024, at the age of 97, Georgia C. McKay of Mount Clemens, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wellnitz and Ida Corinne Wellnitz (Vernon); her husband Vernon Anthony McKay; her brother Vern; her children, David, Debra Duke and Marleen McKay (Georgia); her siblings, Robert Wellnitz, Donald Wellnitz and Patricia Spoutz (Elmer); and also, James, Rose McKay, Paul McKay (Rosalie), Mary Ann Laur, Rosemary Ward (Harold), Agnes McKay, Susan McFadden (Patrick) and Joan McKay.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Zielinski (David), Patrick McKay and Judge Patricia "Patty Sharon" McKay (Dean Metry); her children-in-law, Diane McKay and Thomas Duke; her grandchildren, Courtney McKay Whitfield, Bryan McKay (Haley), Bradley McKay, Elizabeth Gadioli (Chris), Richard Zielinski (Debbie), Robert McKay (Michelle), Katherine Zielinski (Marvin Phillips), Jonathan Zielinski and Corinne Autumn McKay; and her sisters, Elaine Allen and Donna Everett (Edward). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and additional extended family members and countless friends.
