He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Bantle; his wife Genevieve; his stepson Michael Friedmann; and his siblings, Edward, Wendell, Joseph, Gerald and Virginia Darling.
He is survived by: his family, Gregory Friedmann (Ann), Darrell Friedmann (Bonnie), Regina Friedmann, Louise Friedmann, Linda Stubblefield (Rick), John Friedmann (Lori), Kathleen Ross (Dan) and Joseph (Connie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
