He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mroz and Anna Mroz. He is survived by: his wife Anne E. Mette; his pets, Zeke, Koda and Scooter; his granddaughter Daisy; his son Dean Justin Mroz; and his siblings, Cathy Michayluk and Dale Mroz.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home (233 Northbound Gratiot Ave, Mt Clemens, MI 48043).
