Darcie Ann West Obituary
The memory of Darcie Ann West of Mount Clemens, Michigan, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2025, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Glenn Zembower and Joylyn Murphy Zembower; her husband Greg West; and her brother-in-law Douglas West. She is survived by: her siblings, Barry Zembower (Pat) of Erie, PA and Becky Zembower (Steve Stoney) of Anchorage, AK; her children, Mallory Carroll (Jamie) of Mooresboro, NC and Brian West (Stephanie) of Grand Blanc, MI; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Micah, Max, Lee and Jane. She is also survived by nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Mount Clemens (57 Southbound Gratiot Ave, Mt Clemens, MI 48043). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. Soon thereafter, Darcie began working for the Macomb YMCA full-time as the Membership Director, and later, serving in a variety of roles with the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit, including Chief Human Resources Officer during the COVID-19 pandemic, including its downturn and subsequent rebuilding.
