We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 86, Charles Newby (Mount Clemens, Michigan) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Newby to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Menzel Earl Newby, Sr. and Marion LaForge Newby; his brothers, John, Joseph and Menzel Jr. "Jim"; and his granddaughter Monique.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Girvin); his children, Robert Newby, Janice Palazzolo (Michael) and Donna Dunlap (Dennis); his grandchildren, Jennifer Barke (Jason), Joseph Dunlap, Sharon Dunlap, Kevin Rysiewski (Jessica) and Timothy Dunlap; and his sisters, Sandra Pesendorfer (late Robert), Emma Tabor (Robert) and Mary Ann Schoen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, Inc. (140 S Main St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be addressed to Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
