She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alexander and Mary Jane Mechanco (Wiggins); her husband Ernest; her brothers, Charles and John Mechanco; and her granddaughter Randi Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Fambrough (John), Gail Blackwell-Hanson (Kevin), Mark Blackwell (Rick Armstrong), Marylee Ciminelli (Rick), Paul Blackwell (Pamela Moore), Kevin Blackwell (Jenny Marshall) and Bryn Blackwell; and her sister Blanche Ward. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
