He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Tyrrell and Lawrence Tyrrell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; and his children, Dan Tyrrell (Tonya), Debbie Ellsworth, Darcy Prevost (Shawn), Donette Tyrrell, John Tyrrell (Nerissa), Tracy Tyrrell, Laura Lowry (Scott), Robert Tyrrell (Erika) and Tom Tyrrell (Melanie). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four sisters, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Vincent DePaul.
