He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Greene and Charlene Greene (Gross); and his brother Michael Greene. He is survived by: his wife Linda Greene; his son Robert VanderVeen (Carol); his grandchildren, Samantha and Noah; his stepchildren, Jeanie Cain (John), Scott Creighton (Gloria) and Cindy Creighton-Dow (Tonda); and his sister Linda Reed (George). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
