He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Knapp and Alice Knapp (Taylor); and his sisters, Ruth Paulucci, Faith Reminga, Marjorie Burns and Joan Lucchesi.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Knapp; and his children, Wyatt Knapp (Shari), Ben Knapp (Ann), Bryan Knapp (Rosa) and Cindy Lumbert (Todd). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to the St. Joseph's Indian School.
