He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Orban and Marjorie Orban of North Morenci, Michigan.; his wife Jacqueline Laird of Valentine's Day; his sister Cecelia Orban; and his nephew James Clay Orban.

He is survived by: his siblings, James Orban (Chris), Liz Orban (Frank Chao), Susan Orban, Deborah Orban, Rebecca Orban, John Orban (Laurie), Margaret Walker and Paul Orban; and his sister-in-law Mary Carlson. He is also survived by brother, and friend.
