He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirk Borton and Barbara Borton (Judson); and his wife Cynthia Howard. He is survived by: his children, La Cinda Womack (Jeff) of Novi, Justin Pigg of Toledo, OH and Sara Lynch (David) of Warner Robins, GA; his sisters, Mary Jane Dopp (Steve) of Tecumseh and Lisa Stambaugh (David) of Fayette, OH; and his grandchildren, Adam Bedingfield, Dashal Womack, Astrid Pigg and Rudy Pigg. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Congregational Church in Morenci or to Hospice of Lenawee.
