She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hanlin and Dorothy Hanlin (Reid); her siblings, June DeBenedetto, Bud Hanlin, Norma Woodby and Joyce Hanlin; and her son-in-law Timothy Nortley.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Smith; her daughters, Julie Borton (Mark) of Wauseon and Kim Nortley of Morenci; her grandchildren, Chad (Sarah), Michael (Heather), Tim (Jessica) and Nicole (Scott); her great grandchildren, Haleigh, Gia, Hannah, Noah, Josiah, Ally, Makayla, Mariah, Caden, Kinley and Kyser; and her great great grandchild Maliyah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 104 W Locust St, Morenci, MI 49256. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
