He is survived by: his spouse Sherolyn Kay Merillat; his daughters, Christina Frost and Keri Betley (Martin) of Fort Riley, KS; his sisters, Nancy Skopec (Martin) of Buchanan and Kay Merrill (Michael) of South Bend, IN; and his grandson Jackson Robert Betley.
