She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Henson and Thelma Henson (Sing); her siblings, Eldon, Ward Hough and Wilma Schoonover; and her brother-in-law Jon Hobbs.
She is survived by: her husband James McCowan; her children, Chris McCowan (Jodi) and Rachel Johnson (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Dalton, Justis McCowan (Austin Gilson) and Hayden Lee Johnson; and her sisters, Cathy Sallows (Jeff) and Linda Sue Hobbs.
Monetary contributions in Rita's memory may be directed to the family for future designation.
