She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Collar and Mary Lucille Collar (Blurton); her spouse Clare L. Root; and her daughter Patricia Ann Brill. She is survived by: her children, Michael Root (Mary Jo Mosiniak) of Morenci and Pamela Root (John Toth) of Allentown, Pennsylvania; her children-in-law, Christine Root of Montpelier, Ohio and Jan Brill of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Chad Root (Eve) of Hudson, Jason Root (Jennifer) of Morenci, Miles of Raleigh, Joyce of Raleigh and Jenny Brill of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Dodge, Brantley, Dixon, Blake and Lillian.
