He is survived by: his son Korey (Kate); his wife Kie Smith (Shirley); his daughter Kim May (Chris) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Stella May, Atticus, Verity, Evander and Marcellus Maas; and his siblings, Ernie Maas of Toledo, IA, Barb Jensen of Lakeland, FL, Fran (Dick), Spadin of Waterloo, IA and Larry Maas of Dallas, TX.
