He is survived by: his children, Gary Herr, Mary Hofbeck (Eric) of Lynnwood, WA, Janell Corallo (Marco) and Jolene Stafford (Allen); his grandchildren, Ian Hofbeck, Alise, Andrea Herr, Jude, Adam, Amelia Corallo and Lillian Stafford; and his sister Margaret Mary Elchinger.
