He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lakatos and Hazel Lakatos (Bragg). He is survived by: his wife Theresa Butcher (Wambold); his stepchildren, Michelle Stuttgen (Rod), Dale Butcher, Lenda Myers (Anthony) and Diane VanWagner (Kris); his grandchildren, Raegan VanWagner, Brody Stuttgen, Bryce Stuttgen, Ezekiel Meringa, Noah Myers, Theren VanWagner, Emma Butcher, Evee Myers, Owen Myers and Sanne VanWagner; and his sister Cindy Petry (Jim). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, a niece and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation of Northwest Ohio, Hospice of Lenawee, the Lenawee County Agricultural Society and/or the Morenci Sportsman's Club.
