He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Bach and Margaret Bach (Lescher); his wife Lucy Jane Smyth; his children, Grace and John; his granddaughter Roxanne; his brother Raymond (Mary Ann); and his brother-in-law John Hovinetz.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald, Jr. (Judy), Robert (Kelly), Peter, Sr. (Candy), James, Thomas (Christine), Margaret Hill (Edward), Cynthia Fisher (Dale), Mary Jane Neal (Kearney), Theresa Perrault and Gena Sproul; and his sister Beatrice Hovinetz. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
