It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Augustus Glendening of Morenci, Michigan, born in Pittsford, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Glendening and Margaret Glendening (Emerich); his spouse Verena Grace Clymer; his son George Michael Glendening; and his siblings, Betty Fernands, Burl Glendening, Geneva Sayles and Helen Patrick.
He is survived by: his friends, Harry, Max and Lou; his children, Gary Glendening (Cindy) of Cottonwood, Arizona, Penny Nivison (Rick) of Pittsford, Michigan and Glenda Smith (Paul) of Montpelier, Ohio; his grandchildren, Melissa Stokesberry, Tyler Smith and Rachel Gier (Erik); and his great grandchildren, Dakota, Emerson Stokesberry, Graycen, Owen, Dawson Gier, Gauge, Axel, Ryker and Colt Smith.
