He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Lilly Lee Hitt (Busby); his wife Marilyn K Hitt; his siblings, Mona Jean, Emma Abbey, Mary Wilke, Anne Ploured-Norris, Milton Hitt and Ralph Hitt; his in-laws, William Dillon (Bubby) and Phyllis Ann Dillon; and his brother-in-law James Joe Dillon.
He is survived by: his children, James Edward Hitt and Amanda Jo Price (Rodney); his grandchildren, Cody A Dunn, Eric Hitt (Amber), Tiffany Hittman (Staci), Joseph Hitt and Cody Hitt; his great grandchildren, Evangeline Hitt and Ellie Hitt; and his brother Robert Hitt.
Memorial donations in Ed's memory may be given to Hospice of Lenawee or to the family for future designation..
