She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Jason Lantz and Kevin Brugger. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Moran (Bill) of Adrian and Larry Shields (Michelle) of Horton; and her grandchildren, Sheila Brugger of Clayton, Sheryl Johnson (Dean) of Leslie, Brian Moran (Maria) of Dundee, David Moran of Adrian and Brandon Shields of Horton, Michigan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in honor of Dorothy can be made to Hospice of Lenawee or Alzheimer's Association.
