He was predeceased by: his parents, David "Harold" and Sara Dickson (Schaeffer); and his wife Deanna Warncke. He is survived by: his former wife Donna Roth (Farmer); his daughters, Kathleen Dickson of Fayette, Rebecca "Becky" Dickson of Fayette and Melissa Christenson (Chris) of Napoleon, MI; his grandchildren, Ethan Baker of Roanoke, VA and Megan Baker of Harrison Twp; and his sister Mary Emmons of Adrian. He is also survived by 3 step-children; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in honor of David can be made to the Morenci American Legion.
