He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, James Bachman, Hal and Mary Bachelder; and his grandmother Jean Cook. He is survived by: his parents, Jason Cook (Teri Hilyard) of Morenci and Heather Cook (Bachelder) of Morenci; his brothers, Wyatt Cook (Taylor) of Clayton, Jarett Cook (Madison) of Adrian and Kenden; his grandparents, Dave, Julie Bachelder of Morenci, Doug and Melanie Cook of Hudson; his great-grandparents, Carol Bachman of Hudson and Earl Cook Sr. of Clinton; his uncle Doug Cook (Tammy) of Toledo; his aunt Alycia Gutierrez of Hudson; his nephews, Kashtyn, Grayson and Laityn; and his pets, Oakley, Maizy and Gunner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Cayden are suggested to be given to his family.
