He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Adam Sanborn (Michelle) of Sault Ste and Benjamin Sanborn (Jessica) of Waunakee, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Eden Sanborn, Peyton Sanborn and Trenton Sanborn; his stepgranddaughter Alexandria Reynolds; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Sanborn of Portage, Carol Sanborn of Cadillac, Lori Sanborn of Orlando, Florida, Gary Niemela (Liisa) of Marquette, Dennis Niemela (Sue) of Hudson, John Niemela (Kris) of Wakefield, Jim Niemela of Wakefield and Ron Niemila (Ann) of Quinnesec, Michigan; and his mother-in-law Marion Niemela of Wakefield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
