He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Casteel, and Doris Casteel, Sr. (Jones); and his sister Charlotte Hand. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Wenkel, Teresa Casteel, Cliff Casteel (Heather) and Heidi Root; and his brothers, Frank Casteel (Linda), John Casteel (Pam) and Chuck Casteel (Wendy). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren, Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Flushing United Methodist Church – 413 E. Main St. The family has requested that friends and family wear black and red to the funeral home in honor of Thomas.
