He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Payne and Reva Payne (Wanamaker); his wife Bernitta Payne; and his siblings, Doris Hall, Kenneth Payne and Ruthann Mills.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Payne, Kevin Payne (Diane), Richard Payne and Regina Bradshaw (Bill); his grandchildren, Sara DeMarco (Jeff), Kyle Payne, Ashley Nixon (Luke), Jacob Bradshaw and Wes Bradshaw; his great grandchildren, Chloe Nixon, Cameryn DeMarco, Isaac DeMarco, Jacob Bradshaw Jr. and Gabby Bradshaw; and his siblings, Janice Fader (Tom) and Gordon Payne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
