He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey; and his sister Beulah Short (Lloyd). He is survived by: his sons, James Dake and Richard Dake (Laura); his granddaughters, Emily Vogel (Martin) and Elizabeth Wolber (Matt); his great grandchildren, Leah, Jasper Vogel, Alaina and Caroline Wolber; his niece Theresa Allis; and his nephew Ron Jones (Mary).
Those who attend are encouraged to wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Montrose United Methodist Church.
