He is survived by: his wife Molly Silva; his children, Rosemarie Butterworth (Mark), Gilbert Silva (Monica), Jerry Silva (Gelene), Lydia Diem (Jeff), Gary Silva (Debbie), Debbie Cross (Robert) and Tish Mall (Kyle); his grandchildren, Nic Lea, Lindsay Lea (Jason Fry), Crystalee Dorise (Norman), Gilbert Silva Jr. (Michelle), Jarvis Silva, Joshua Silva (Shandeen Cleveland), Jessika Murray (Jason), Felicia Campbell (Ian), Dustin Silva, Cheyenne Riddle (Kyle), Carlita McVeigh (Darren), Victoria Cross-Smith (James Smith), Tabitha Cross, Tristin Cross, Amanda Cross, Anthony Cross, Jacob Eaton (Chelsea) and Chelcie Mall (Grant Soffer); his great great grandchild Younger; and his siblings, Ignacio Villareal (Younger) and Jessie Rodriguez. He is also survived by 29 Great-Grandchildren, Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (400 N Saginaw St, Montrose, MI 48457). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
