He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Monroe and Thelma Monroe (Loveland); his wife Ilah Murdock; his son John Claude; and his siblings, Robert, Richard, Ervin, Ruth and Pearl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy (Randy Williams) and Debbie Monroe; his grandchildren, Corey Rush (Jamie) of Flushing, Aaron Rush (Kristen) of Columbus, Tia Baryo (Terry) of Midland, Jenna Kross (Jacob) of Bridgeport and Jessica Bice of Montrose; his great grandchildren, Lilly, Loyal, Alivia, Calvin, Kara, Jaxen, Jacob, Landen and Asher; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Murdock, Candy Cook (Roger), Doris Monroe and Dee Meoak.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
