She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scharer and Florence Scharer; and her sister Joyce. She is survived by: her children, James L. Cahours (Brenda), Rebecca Vennesland (Christopher), Sharon Harmer (Timothy), Tabitha Meglich (Stephen) and Ruth Cavell; and her brothers, Arthur Scharer (Priscilla), David Scharer (Elaine) and Gene Scharer (Vickie). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.
