He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Kalfs (Raymond) and Simon Raymond (Gladys); his siblings, Robert Kalfs, Margaret Welch and Geraldine Buchanan; his father-in-law Frank Moore (Marion); and his brother-in-law Henry Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Kalfs; his son John Kalfs (Christine Munsell); and his siblings, Dorothy Tarrant, Mary Ann Kaupp and James Kalfs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Community Mental Health.
