It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lamay (Montrose, Michigan), born in Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar LaMay and Hazel LaMay (Miller); and his siblings, Richard, Pete, Eugene, Rex, June, Erma and Jan.
He is survived by: his former wife Benita June Bunting; his wife Jeanie Marston; his children, Jaymi (Tony Stout), Jim (Kaye LaMay), Matt (Candy LaMay), Adam (Gaye LaMay), Jay (Jodie Newcomer), Jeff (Amanda Newcomer) and Jenean Newcomer Haapala; his grandchildren, Bina (Kent Smith), Ben Stout, Alexandra (Chris Eskew), Joe LaMay (Tess), David LaMay, Josh LaMay, Tena Moody (Aaron), Lynsey Ball, Trent Pollard, Zach LaMay, Christa Zawol, Newcomer, Makenzie Newcomer, Griffen Mascioli and Ethan Haapala; and his siblings, Dave, Patsy and Mary Ellen. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
