He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thornburg and Lillie Thornburg (Mathis); and his brother Billy Thornburg. He is survived by: his wife Constance Haines; his children, Wesley Thornburg (Josephine), William Thornburg (Sandra), Jeffery Thornburg (Diane) and Cathy Bassett (Dick); his sisters, Yvonne Tipton, Patsy Cox and Donna Cutshaw (Buddy); and his brother-in-law Robert Haines (Elsa). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren.
