He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Joseph and Helen Marie Wendzik (York); his son Todd Joseph Wendzik; and his sisters, Barbara Mock and Dorothy Friedl.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Friedl; his children, Brian Wendzik (Sheryl), Lori Jankowski and Shari Herzberg (Joey); his grandchildren, Madelaine Wendzik (Ross), Miles Harrison Wendzik, Timothy Joseph Jankowski, Abigail Jankowski (Keegan), Rachel Jankowski (Matthew), Ava Herzberg and Logan Herzberg; his siblings, Carolyn Weston (Richard) and Richard Wendzik (Janet); his siblings-in-law, Jon Friedl (Barbara Puglia), Bill Mock and Mildred Gavin (James); and his aunts, Rosie Wendzik and Sally York. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Taymouth Presbyterian Church.
