He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Soper and Marie Soper; his wife Joyce; his son Tony; and his siblings, Bob and Maggie.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Soper (Debbie), Kelly Hodges, Jeff Soper (DeeAnn) and Brian Soper (Tammy); his daughter-in-law Judy Soper; his grandchildren, Megan Hodges, Nina Florian (Chris), Chelsea English (Nick), Michael Soper, Joe Soper, Brison Soper, Shelby Parker, Crystal Hurd-Kurotori (Alan) and Jeff Hurd; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Brandon, Ellie, Leo, Alex, Logan and Annika. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the ALS Therapy Development Institute, in loving memory of Harold's son Tony, who courageously fought ALS.
