It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary W. Mace of Montrose, Michigan, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Mace and Elizabeth Mace (Reiter); and his brother Ron Mace. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mace; his children, Doug Mace (Eadie), Delynn Fairbanks (Christopher) and Derek Mace (Karise); his exchange students, Christine Frankman, Lise Haniveg, Wakako McDaniels, Sanna Takala and Armin Rott; his grandchildren, Alex Mace (Mackenzie), Rob Mace, Macen Qualls, Kate Mace, Julia Mace, Rene Taylor (Michael), Evelyn Mace, Caleb Fairbanks, Mickinly Qualls, Meredith Mace and Maxwell Qualls; his siblings, Keith Mace (Becky) and Cheryl Mace; and his sister-in-law Patricia Mace.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
