He was predeceased by: his father Elvin Ross; and his brother Tom Ross. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ross; his sons, Mitchell Ross, Wesley Ross (Patty), Rodney Ross (Loree) and Darin Sloan (Stacey); his grandchildren, Sean (Casey), Timmy (Amber), Tricia (Rick), Jacob, Samantha (Megan), Allysha (Tony), Benjamin (Alysa), Sydney (Cooper), Amanda (Curtis) and Danielle (Zac); his son Followed; his close friends, David Irvine (Geri) and Jean Taylor; and his aunt Ester Torpey (Maudie Rifenbark). He is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren.
