It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Leroy Burke of Montrose, Michigan, born in Flushing, Michigan, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene; his parents, Charles Burke and Mary Burke (Harvey); his siblings, Florence, Hazel and James; and his sons-in-law, Steven Arnold and Michael Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Toth (Joseph) of Flushing, Brenda Johnson of Montrose, Donald O. Burke of Montrose and Scott Burke (Melissa) of Genesee; and his grandchildren, Dawayne Houghteling (Jennifer), Luke Houghteling (Ashley), Travis Houghteling (Jennie), Jessica Lutze Jr. (Roger), Chasity Dickinson (Chris), Alisha Beasley (Jason), Jason Burke and Cody Burke. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Mr. Burke also wanted it to be known that his death was not due to Covid-19.
